Controlled Area Network

Here is an oscilloscope pattern of CAN data stream. Blue with white stripe is a can high wire and yellow wire is for can low, black is a ground wire. This system can be only tested with dual trace oscilloscope as high and low has to be connected together to see full pattern.

Right indicator pattern.

Left side indicator

Rear wiper.

Stop Lights.

Fuel Pump.

Input and output pins or right indicator and rear wiper.

Right indicator input pin 5 and output through U7 transistor from IC9 chip. (GP4 pin 5 of IC)

Rear wiper input pin 7 and output trough RL4b relay and transistor U14. (GP6 output from 14 pin IC chip MCP2505)

Identifying voltage regulators.

Pin 1 and 2 12 volts power supply, regulator number U2 7805, output +5 volts to pin 14 of IC MCP 2505.

Following reverse light circuit.

Input switch pin 4 to pin 3 in 18F258 from that it goes as a digital signal in can High and Low to IC 4 then to IC 5 and IC 5 sends signal to MCP 2505 which sends ground signal in pin 2 to IC 7 which turns on the transistor U5 which grounds reverse light and turns them on.

  1. The question for your CAN pictures asks for you to identify were the pattern changes between the various inputs. There is two voltage regulators but i can't see the second? For your wiring diagrams a picture of the circuit would have made it easier.
NOTE:This is just feed back and you aren't required to add more
